We love to think about ingredients. And we love the work of sourcing them. Getting to know the impassioned growers and makers behind our every ingredient is at the center of what we do.
When choosing a sweetener for our organic, pressed almond milk, we had a high standard. The almond milk you find boxed on store shelves most often uses cane sugar (thank you, no thank you). And we know many who opt for agave and coconut sugars. But to us, those just felt so mysterious. So far from home.
So why honey? Because of its beautiful simplicity. Raw honey, in its purest form, is filled to the brim with minerals, enzymes and phytonutrients. It has antiviral, antioxidant and antibacterial properties, aids the immune and digestive systems, and can help to ward off seasonal allergies. Plus, we are able to source it locally.
Our raw spring blossom honey comes from beekeepers Mary and Dave Mansur in Ispwich. They keep bees responsibly, hand pour every jar, and leave us handwritten notes on their porch when we come by for a pickup. We are thrilled to support the heartfelt and oh so important work that they do. And we are overjoyed to nourish you with the purest ingredients we can find.
