We’re in it now. Snow has arrived, and surely, more is on the way. Snowy Sundays are the perfect time for books and projects, old movies and new recipes. We are purely smitten with this deep, dark, almond milk cocoa. It takes the superfoods we love and turns them into a warming winter treat.
Superfood hot cocoa
2 cups almond milk (Pure)
2 Tablespoons maple syrup
2 Tablespoons raw cacao powder
1/2 teaspoon virgin coconut oil
2 pinches Himalayan pink salt
Whisk all ingredients together in a small saucepan over medium heat. Continue whisking until well combined and piping hot (but do not boil). Pour into mug. Add marshmallows. Serves 1-2.
